Clive Spears, Chairman Nordic Capital Limited
Clive Spears is the Chairman of Nordic Capital Limited in Jersey and has a number of other non executive appointments on a variety of fund structures managed locally, other principal appointments being with the Nomura Group and Jersey Post where he serves as Head of the Audit Committee.
He started his career in banking with William’s & Glyn’s Bank in the City of London in gilt stock lending, moving to internal audit and then to Jersey some 25 years ago, filling a number of corporate banking and global custody roles during the period. He retired from the Royal Bank Group six years ago to engage in the provision of independent corporate services largely in the funds sector.
He is the immediate past President of the Jersey Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc where he has sat on various committees for the past 20 years. He is an Associate of The Chartered Institute of Bankers and a Member of The Securities & Investment Institute.
