Emma Mathew, Communications Manager
Emma Mathew joined Jersey Finance in February 2009, as Communications Manager. She was born and educated in Jersey and graduated in the UK with an honours degree in Hospitality Management. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and qualified with her professional diploma in 2004.
Prior to joining Jersey Finance, Emma worked in London for over 2 ½ years as Marketing Manager for Historic Royal Palaces, responsible for the marketing strategy, planning and creative development; promotions; branding and market research of the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace and other palaces attracting approximately 3 million visitors.
Previous to this she worked at Jersey Tourism for over 5 years as Communications Executive, marketing both the island as a tourist destination and for Jersey Royals - creating advertising campaigns for press, radio, TV, online; as well as creating printed publications and guides.
Emma is responsible for the research and production of marketing communications and strategic public relations campaigns to support Jersey's response/positioning with regard to current and impending market/political factors.
