Giles Adu, Inward Investment Manager
Giles has extensive experience in financial markets over twenty years. He has been involved with the hedge fund industry since the early 1990’s.
Giles is currently Managing Partner and Co Founder of Brook Street Partners (Jersey) Ltd, an alternative investment consultancy that he co-founded in 2003 to provide strategic advice to hedge funds in the areas of fund structuring, product development and capital raising.
Giles is currently engaged by Jersey Finance to develop the Jersey Alternative Investment management industry and is responsible for the establishment of financial companies in Jersey.
Prior to founding Brook Street Partners Giles spent ten years as Director at investment banks Societe Generale, Credit Lyonnais, Banque Nationale de Paris leading sales and trading of fixed income, credit and derivative products. He was responsible for setting up, managing and leading coverage of hedge funds and global institutional investors.
Giles serves as a Non- Executive Director for several hedge funds.
Giles currently serves as a member of the Jersey Funds Association Legal and Technical Sub-Committee. Giles is a non-executive financial examiner of a Jersey based charity the Good News Trust and a Committee member of Motor Neurone Disease Association, Jersey.
Giles was awarded an MSc Financial Economics from University of London, BA Economics, Kingston University, UK and is a holder of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.
