Zhaoan Li, Head of Greater China Business Development
Zhaoan Li joined Jersey Finance as Head of Greater China Business Development in April 2009. Based in Hong Kong, Zhaoan’s primary objective is to communicate to the finance and business communities across China the many factors that make Jersey a leading international finance centre.
Zhaoan’s career includes 13 years in sales, marketing, and management roles in capital markets with leading international banks such as UBS Investment Bank, Commerzbank, and Bank of Boston in London, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Most recently, she worked for three years at BMO Capital Markets in London with responsibility for fixed income sales to institutional clients in the Far East including China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. A native of Shanghai, She is fluent in Mandarin, Shanghainese and English. She enjoys sailing, skiing and hiking.
