About the Work Experience
This week-long programme has been designed and organised by Jersey Finance in partnership with Education, Sport and Culture, Careers Jersey and/or secondary schools to give students the opportunity to gain valuable “real-life” work experience within the finance industry.

Objectives for the Programme
- To give students an insight into the world of finance
- Give them the opportunity to enhance their skills, gain valuable work experience and improve their knowledge and CVs
- Understand what “working-life” is all about and give them the an opportunity to break into a new field and gain exposure to an employer and its organisational culture
- Give them the opportunity of finding out what type of careers are available in the finance industry in Jersey
- To introduce possible entry routes into the industry.
- Undertake a project and open up the possibility of full-time employment upon graduation
