What is it all about?
During the programme you will undertake a carefully structured programme of lecture, tutorials and work based learning, which is designed to deliver:
- An understanding how the financial service sector works, the impact of the economy, politics and global competition
- A detailed knowledge of customer needs and the products and services of the organisations in the sector
- Real experience of delivering those products and an in-depth understanding of the regulations, policies and systems
- Advanced communications, IT and problem solving skills
In order to broaden your horizons, you will be given the opportunity to:
- Attend study weeks in places like Rennes, Singapore and London
- Meet leaders of the Finance sector in Jersey
- Go to lectures given by international experts
- Work on a number of significant business problems
At the end of the programme the course aims for you to have:
- The confidence and qualifications to undertake a responsible position in Financial Services
- The knowledge, skills and experience that will make you extremely attractive to employers
- The qualifications to enable you to take a one year top-up honours degree in Business Administration or Accounting and Finance
- A direct route to further professional qualifications
