| Work based weeks |
At college you will learn through lectures, tutorials and workshops. Each week you will be required to attend college for three days each week (9:00 – 17:00); on top of this you will need to study for another 15 – 20 hours. The work you will be required to do is of the same standard of traditional degrees, the difference is that the class sizes in Jersey are much smaller than those at a UK university.
At work (which will be paid) you will be expected to do a real job, also learn and practical aspects of the programme.
You will be also be allocated a tutor who will make sure you are getting the support you need.
