Company Profile:
Altis is a leading hedge fund which uses a proprietary trading system to deliver outstanding absolute returns. Research and Technology is right at the heart of Altis. As a member of the team you could be employed developing in-house research software: by programming in C# and SQL you would build custom analytical tools that are used to analyse patterns in the markets. You would then use these tools to develop new indicators or improve on existing ones. Finally testing your work on a small subset of markets and if successful including it in our trading strategy.

Entry Criteria:
Graduates & Career Switchers
Analyst Programmer – attained a degree at 2.1 or better in any of the following disciplines: Maths, Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
Research Analyst – attained either a Masters or PHD in any of the following disciplines:
Maths, Physics, Electrical Engineering Candidates must have programming experience; it would be desirable for that experience to be in C#/ASP.NET, SQL or VB.
Indicative Salary:
Graduates - £30 - £50k basic depending upon qualifications
