China is poised to become the world’s largest economy over 20 years earlier than Goldman Sachs predicted in their 2001 BRIC report.
The first Chinese company was registered in Jersey in 1994, since when China’s economy has nearly quadrupled in value.
To date, 25% of the Chinese companies that have listed in London have done so through Jersey.
In the light of these realities, Jersey Finance has been actively exploring the opportunities for Jersey’s financial services industry in China since November 2005. This section collates some of its most significant findings.
