One year on, has The Jersey Foundation made an impact?

The Jersey Foundations Law follows it's predecessors in other jurisdictions, such as the Foundation Law in Mexico (introduced in 1923), the Foundation Law of Liechtenstein in 1926 and the Panamanian Law of 1995. Since the new Jersey Foundations Law was passed in August last year, some 50 Jersey Foundations have been formed.
Our leading law firms have contributed case studies on the many and varied uses to which these early Foundations have already been put and these were discussed in a panel session hosted by Jersey Finance.
