Jersey Finance Far East Visit
Hong Kong & Shanghai
Monday 30th March - Friday 3rd April
A Jersey Finance Far EastVisit to Hong Kong and Shanghai took place the week Monday, 30th March to Friday 3rd April 2009. This was the first of two small scale trips to the region this year, with the second likely to occur in October to coincide with the STEP Asia Conference being held in Singapore.
FOCUS OF THE VISIT
Unlike previous years where Jersey Finance hosted large conference presentations, we adjusted the format to individual intermediary meetings and or small single firm presentations as we believed this provided access to key decision makers in a very cost effective manner. On our most recent visit (September 2008) over 60 individual meetings took place which included government and regulatory bodies, industry, media and press conferences.
