States of Jersey visit to Tel Aviv, Israel

The Economic Development Department, States of Jersey, in partnership with UK Israel Business, an organisation which encourages trade, industry and investment between the UK, States of Jersey and Israel, took part in a promotional trip to Tel Aviv in Israel, on 22nd - 25th May.
The visit focused on developing and diversifying Jersey business in three key areas:
- Financial Services
- Clean Technology (renewable energy, environmental transport)
- E-Gaming
During the visit, the Jersey delegation met with representatives from the Israeli Finance and Environment Ministries, and the Federation of Chamber of Commerce, the Chief Executive of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and the Governor of the Bank of Israel. They also visited a number of key financial services and clean technology businesses, and held round table meetings with e-gaming entrepreneurs.
