Daniel established Global Advisors in 1999 with a colleague, Russell Newton. Global Advisors adopts a systematic approach to trading a broad range of commodities and investment is available through segregated managed accounts, Funds or a number of managed platforms. The business originally operated from New York and London but at the beginning of 2009 the principals took the decision to relocate to Jersey in the Channel Islands.
After a degree in Physics from Exeter University and a Masters in Management Science from Imperial College, Daniel worked for Shell in London as an oil trader, Phibro in Switzerland in the energy markets and J. P. Morgan in New York as head of its global energy trading business, before establishing Global Advisors.
