Tuesday 23rd February , 8:30-16:30

IBC Hedge Fund Re-Domiciliation For Managers

Helping you to evaluate the tax & regulatory benefits of key jurisdictions

Jersey Finance will sponsor the IBC Hedge Fund Re-domiciliation Conference in London on Tuesday 23rd February. The speaker will be Danny Masters, Co Principle of Global Advisors, recently re-located to Jersey. This conference will look at the relocation of hedge funds - either as a part-relocation of the business, a full move or the relocation of actual managers.

This event compares the advantages and disadvantages of the key jurisdictions in play and allows hedge fund mangers to make a well rounded, fully informed and practical choice on where to domicile. There are a number of factors currently driving the re-domiciliation of hedge funds and many factors driving the relocation of hedge fund managers. These are increased taxes, controversial new European regulation, investor flight to quality and transparency to name just a few are causing a big rise in the number of funds moving from the UK to other jurisdictions.

As part of our sponsorship package Jersey Finance will participate in a panel session entitled Comparing Key Jurisdictions & Their Attractiveness. The event is aimed specifically at hedge fund managers, as well as their service providers - legal, accounting, administration, custodian. Full details on the programme and how to reserve a place can be found by clicking here.
