Noel Doran, Senior Associate, Taylor and Wessing LLP
Noel Doran is a Senior Associate in the Planning & Environment team at Taylor Wessing LLP.
Noel is a former Principal Solicitor for the Environment Agency, where he provided advice on environmental regulation. He acted as legal advisor to the regional and national planning liaison groups.
Having moved to private practice in 2000, in addition to environmental and planning matters, he has advised in relation to a wide range of compliance and regulatory fields.
More recently, Noel has advised on regulatory issues in relation to a major energy importation project and hazardous waste disposal issues in the US, and participated in the consultation on the introduction of the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme.
Noel is an experienced advocate and regular public speaker. He has also written a number of articles covering topics such as asbestos, environmental liabilities and waste law.
