Adam Smith Institute
The Adam Smith Institute is Britain’s leading innovator of free-market economic and social policies. Named after the great Scottish economist and author of The Wealth of Nations, the Institute is guided by the principles of the free society. Since its founding, it has played a key role in pioneering practical initiatives to inject choice and competition into public services, extend personal freedom, reduce taxes, prune back regulation, and cut government waste.

The Institute develops and spreads these ideas through its research, reports, seminars, briefings for politicians and journalists; through its website and weblog; and through media pieces in the newspapers and on radio and TV. For further information, please visit www.adamsmith.org

Centre for the Study of Financial Innovation
The CSFI is a unique forum to explore financial innovation. Founded as an independent not-for-profit think-tank in 1993 by Andrew Hilton and David Lascelles to stimulate research into the future of the financial services industry, and to provide a neutral meeting ground for financial practitioners to share ideas and explore the road ahead; through research, reports and holding round-table meetings, all centred on the latest developments in the financial services sector.

The CSFI holds about 80 round-table discussions a year on a variety of topics and has published more than 90 reports in its 17-year history. The Centre's activities are supported by sponsorship from many of the leading names in banking, insurance, investment, technology and the professions, as well as a Governing Council of influential City figures.

International Financial Centres Forum (IFC Forum)

The International Financial Centres Forum is a non-profit organisation established in 2009 to provide authoritative and balanced information about the role of IFCs in the global economy.

Small IFCs make a significant and constructive contribution to the global economy through the responsible intermediation of trade and financial services. However, dated stereotypes of IFCs promoted through the media and in politics, are not reflective of the current reality and pose the risk of poor policy decisions which can damage the economies of IFCs, the G20 nations and developing  countries.

The IFC Forum aims to redress this through the collation and distribution of empirical data on the contribution of small IFCs to the world economy.
