CAIA event – Thursday 18 June 2015
Dear Jersey Finance Member,
Jersey Finance is pleased to partner with CAIA Association and Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management for an educational event to provide more information and showcase the CAIA designation, exams and capabilities.
The event is to be held on Thursday, June 18th at 5:30 p.m. (registration from 5:00pm) at the offices of Jersey Finance Limited.
The session will begin with remarks from both Richard Corrigan, Deputy CEO of Jersey Finance, and Bill Kelly, CEO of CAIA Association (via Webex) followed by a talk by Dr. Keith Black, Managing Director of Curriculum and Exams at the CAIA Association providing an overview of alternative investments, the CAIA designation, exam and syllabus and how relevant this is in todays environment and then Dr. Bastian Hertstein, Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management will put this into action by finishing with a talk on hedge fund risk management and the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive ("AIFMD").
Participants would also have the chance to ask general questions about the CAIA exams and designation during the Q&A sessions.
