We are delighted to welcome Jane Platt CBE, who was appointed Chair of the Jersey Financial Services Commission in March 2024. With extensive experience in leading large and complex organisations, Jane has a distinguished track record across financial services, including institutional and retail investment management, stockbroking, banking, and the civil service.
Previously, she held senior corporate positions including CEO of Barclays Stockbrokers and Chief Executive of NS&I, followed by a number of non-executive roles, including serving on the Board of the Financial Conduct Authority and Zurich Assurance. This breadth of experience gives her a unique perspective on regulation from both sides of the fence.
Awarded a CBE in 2013 for services to financial services, Jane will share her invaluable insights on the latest economic headwinds and the evolving role of regulators in an ever-changing world.

Amy is Deputy Chief Executive of Jersey Finance. Amy joined Jersey Finance in 2011, becoming Chief Operating Officer in January 2014 and assumed her current role in September 2017. Amy also retains an active position leading the Strategy and Research team which undertakes projects and initiatives to develop the financial services industry in the Island.
Amy was born and educated in Jersey and subsequently went on to study at Durham University where she graduated with an honours degree in Natural Sciences.
Previous to Jersey Finance, Amy worked for PwC in the Channel Islands where she specialised in the taxation of offshore funds and Jersey corporate vehicles and provided international structuring advice to a global client base. Whilst working within the tax team, Amy was admitted to the Chartered Institute of Taxation as a Chartered Tax Advisor. Amy initially qualified as a chartered accountant within PwC’s Assurance team working on the audits of a number of banks, financial institutions and public sector bodies.
