Entitled ‘Clear Direction’, the 2016 Jersey Finance Annual Asia Roadshow Shanghai event will take place on 18 October and will bring together a range of world-class industry professionals to discuss some of the key issues currently shaping the global market/growth of the Asian market.

Led by Richard Corrigan, Deputy Chief Executive, Jersey Finance, the event will feature keynote speeches and a panel session with several leading industry experts, who will discuss a range of topics including the need for substance in 21st century international finance centres, the growth of family offices and their increasing importance to UHNWIs.

The conference follows on from our successful 2014 and 2015 roadshows, and is set to attract a broad range of members of the local advisory community, including wealth practitioners, lawyers, investment managers and other finance professionals, and will provide a light lunch with plenty of networking opportunities.

As Interim Director of Financial Services for the Government of Jersey, Richard provides advice to Ministers on financial services matters and leads a team that supports sustainable and responsible development of Jersey's finance industry.

Prior to his secondment, Richard was Deputy CEO of Jersey Finance, where he led international teams covering Africa, Europe, GCC, Greater China, India, North America and the United Kingdom, promoting Jersey as a well-regulated, internationally cooperative financial centre.

In his earlier career, Richard managed a variety of business units within Barclays Bank plc and Royal Bank of Scotland Group, including various subsidiary board appointments.

Professionally, he is a member of both the Institute of Directors and the Institute of Financial Services. Richard is also a member of the Prince's Trust Steering Group for Jersey and Vice-Chair of the Board of Governors at Highlands College, Jersey.


David Chang

David is Secretary General of China Family Office Association, an industry-leading association with a mission to build and increase dialogue between global and local UHNW families, facilitate efficient capital allocation and provide first-class services for local UHNW families’ inter-generational needs. He also serves as CIO for a number of multi family offices and is the lead partner for G9, the leading family office think tank in China.

After studying at Cornell University in the US, David started his career in 1994 when he joined J.P. Morgan Investment Management in New York. Over the next 19 years, he held senior positions in a number of firms, gaining a wealth of experience in fixed income investment and portfolio management. In 2013, David was one of three founding partners of SMC Capital Advisors, where he was responsible for their local credit bond fund.

In September 2014, David decided to focus in full time capacity to lead CFOA’s activities.

Fiona has over 25 years’ experience in wealth management and has travelled extensively to Asia and the Middle East working with clients and their advisers on all aspects of wealth structuring. Fiona has advised on complex high net worth structures such as private trust companies and private unit trusts dealing with all types of assets. She has responsibility for key clients in Asia, visiting the region at least twice a year.

Fiona is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) in Jersey and the International Compliance Association.

Peter is head of Zhong Lun's corporate department and also oversees the firm’s tax and wealth planning practice. He has more than 20 years’ experience in providing Chinese and international tax services to corporate and private clients, including nine years in the US. Peter previously led the Greater China tax practice of White & Case and the international tax practice of EY China, and has been ranked as a Band 1 Chinese tax lawyer by leading international directories.

An joined Jersey Finance in May 2016 as the Business Development Director for Greater China based in Hong Kong. Having studied law in Belgium at the University of Leuven, which included one Erasmus exchange year at Queen Mary and Westfield College in London, An then completed her LLM in international business law at Trinity College Dublin. Once qualified, An moved to Matheson’s Dublin office where she worked in the law firm’s international business team. She later moved to ATC Corporate Services in Luxembourg as a corporate lawyer and then a business unit manager. Following a merger between ATC Corporate Services and Intertrust Group, An joined the Intertrust Hong Kong office in 2014 as a business unit director for the European and private equity teams.
