Karolina joined Jersey Finance as Strategic Projects Manager in May 2016, becoming Senior Manager in 2017.
Karolina is a qualified chartered accountant and a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Previous to Jersey Finance Karolina was an Advisory Manager with PwC in the Channel Islands where is she has managed a number of consultancy projects including regulatory and AML related projects at financial services providers and worked on the design and implementation of a new operating model for one of the leading global providers of financial services to institutional investors.
Karolina has worked with PwC for 9 years where she initially joined the Jersey tax practise with a focus on the tax regime for offshore funds. In 2010, Karolina joined the firm’s Advisory and Assurance teams working mainly on audit engagements with an asset management focus including private equity and fund of funds structures.
Karolina’s role at Jersey Finance is to lead a highly focused team dealing with projects and initiatives in the development of the finance industry.
David Scott Data & AI Practice Team Leader, C5
David Scott is a Principal Consultant at C5 and leads the Data & AI Practice. David has over 25 years of experience in delivering Microsoft Data Warehouse and Analytic solutions both on-premises and in the Cloud, delivering solutions in a broad range of industries including retail, insurance, energy services, airlines and finance, to name but a few. In his role managing the practice, David oversees teams on multiple client engagements, ensuring the successful delivery of Data & AI solutions. As well as his exceptional team management skills, David is an expert in data engineering, business intelligence and artificial intelligence and is experienced in all aspects of solutions delivery, from requirements gathering to technical delivery. David also has a strong entrepreneurial drive, having founded a number of tech businesses including the social network for plant lovers around the world, GardenTags.
