In a new look format for 2022, Funds Focus (previously known as Funds Masterclass) – our popular London flagship events for the funds sector – is titled ‘The Tax Landscape: Changes, Challenges and Consequences’.
Following a keynote presentation from Rupert Lee from Deloitte UK, we will hold a panel discussion with leading experts from both Jersey and London to look at several recent tax initiatives and their impact on alternative funds.
In particular we will take a deep-dive into the recently published detailed rules on OECD Pillar I and II, which will bring about the implementation of a landmark reform to the international tax system. Additionally, the panel will cover substance rules for partnerships, the recent joint Channel Islands guidance, plus several other tax related developments for funds including the QAHC regime.
This event is ideal for anyone associated with the alternative funds industry – including placement agents, investors, administrators, managers, fund lawyers and fund tax advisers – to get up to date with the latest trends.
We hope you will join us for this informative presentation and panel discussion, which will be followed by drinks and networking.
