Jersey Finance is delighted to invite our Future Connect Members to join us for our ‘Future Connect: Data Protect Yourself’, taking place on Thursday 20 October between 5.30 pm – 7.30 pm at the Royal Yacht Hotel.
Our expert speaker, Aonghus Fraser, CEO and Director at Revoke, will be providing a short keynote speech on high risk common phishing and social engineering attacks and best practices for protecting your mobile device and personal data. Our phones are leaking data every minute of every day, which is why it is important you protect yourself from the data risks when you use social media.
The event will then be followed by a networking session, with drinks and canapés.

Aonghus Fraser CEO and Director, Revoke
Gus is a technology evangelist and leader with broad experience from his 20 years in senior technology roles for a number of organisations from bootstrapped start-ups to enterprise consultancy organisations. A privacy and data protection advocate with a “change the world” attitude, he co-founded Revoke to help consumers take back control of their personal data and recently launched Blokk to stop data from being leaked and tracked by apps and websites on your phone. Gus also holds a number of advisory positions at fintech companies and other start-ups and is a regular speaker at conferences on various topics including Identity, Cybersecurity and Blockchain technologies.
