Future Connect Diversity: Embrace it, Share it, Celebrate it
5.30 pm - 7.30 pm
GMT
Location: Pomme d'Or Hotel
We are delighted to invite you to participate in a workshop with Kate Wright, Co-Founder of the Diversity Networking in Jersey.
The aims of the workshop are to explore how and why our trusted ‘inner circles’ are usually made up of people just like us, the benefits of diversifying our network and how to go about doing it in an effective way.
We’ll take a look at what diversity is and why a truly diverse workforce is essential for organisations to aim for. We will also explore how our unconscious biases limit our own ability to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace (even if we think we’re really well intended) and how we are all responsible for change. Change is to our own benefit too in terms of breaking down barriers to progression and we’ll use a simple tool to help people diversify their own personal networks.
