Jason Laity was appointed Chairman of Jersey Finance Ltd on 1 December 2020. Jason has spent his business career in Jersey.

He was Senior Partner and Chairman of KPMG in the Channel Islands until 30 September 2019. He is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Tax Adviser, and an Accounting Technician. He has extensive experience of the financial services industry in Jersey, significant leadership and board level experience, and has participated in or led a wide variety of engagements in the financial services and other sectors in his career. Jason spent a significant part of 2020 assisting Digital Jersey Limited further their fintech roadmap for the Island.

Jason has been Chairman of the local branch of the Institute of Directors and a Governor of Victoria College and he is currently a trustee of the Jersey Employment Trust and an officer of the Association of Jersey Charities. He provides consultancy services and holds various other non-executive director positions.

With a career in financial services spanning four decades, Joe has a strong commitment to the future success of the industry in Jersey.

Joe commenced his professional life in the banking sector, rising to the position of CEO of Jersey and the Isle of Man for a major bank, which included responsibilities for trusts and investments. In recent years, he expanded his focus as Director of Financial Services within the Government of Jersey, where he worked closely with industry and regulator to ensure the island’s position as a leading international finance centre. Before joining Jersey Finance in February 2019, Joe was working to establish high-reputation regulatory frameworks and business models for IFCs in the Middle East and Africa. He is a board director of the World Alliance of International Finance Centers (WAIFC).

Amy is Deputy Chief Executive of Jersey Finance. Amy joined Jersey Finance in 2011, becoming Chief Operating Officer in January 2014 and assumed her current role in September 2017. Amy also retains an active position leading the Strategy and Research team which undertakes projects and initiatives to develop the financial services industry in the Island.

Amy was born and educated in Jersey and subsequently went on to study at Durham University where she graduated with an honours degree in Natural Sciences.

Previous to Jersey Finance, Amy worked for PwC in the Channel Islands where she specialised in the taxation of offshore funds and Jersey corporate vehicles and provided international structuring advice to a global client base. Whilst working within the tax team, Amy was admitted to the Chartered Institute of Taxation as a Chartered Tax Advisor. Amy initially qualified as a chartered accountant within PwC’s Assurance team working on the audits of a number of banks, financial institutions and public sector bodies.

Lisa joined Jersey Finance in November 2017 from Bedell Cristin where she was a partner within the Commercial Litigation department.

Lisa leads the delivery of our legal and technical services to our Members and, alongside her team, represents the finance industry’s position, in respect of legislation, regulation and innovation, to enhance Jersey’s offering. Lisa is qualified as an English Barrister and Jersey Advocate and prior to joining Jersey Finance in 2017, she was a partner within the commercial litigation team of one of the local leading law firms.

She works closely with the CEO, Joe Moynihan and Deputy CEO, Amy Bryant as well as the Financial Services Industry in Jersey, the States of Jersey Government bodies and the Jersey Financial Services Commission, to ensure effective and proactive consultation and communication is maintained.

Prior to moving to Jersey in 1993, Lisa practised with leading law firm, Mayer Brown JSM in Hong Kong and as a barrister in London. She qualified as a Jersey advocate in 2000 and is a very experienced commercial litigator, having acted for high-net worth individuals, leading banks and local trust companies over the last 25 years.

She has formerly held positions as Chair of the Institute of Directors (“IoD”) in Jersey, Board member of the Jersey Good Business Charter and a member of the Economic Council which was established by Government of Jersey, following the onset of Covid-19.

Lisa is the present Chair of Visit Jersey.

Chris joined Jersey Finance in April 2024 and has 30 years of international financial services experience, with particular expertise in the digital and fintech space.

In his role as Global Head of Market Development, Chris has a pivotal role as part of Jersey Finance’s leadership team, overseeing the organisation’s global team of market development specialists in key strategic markets, including Asia, the Middle East, Africa, the US and the UK.

Chris has been working in financial services for 30 years starting in the City of London, before moving to Hong Kong. He spent many years in Asia and has worked extensively across multiple overseas markets. He moved to Jersey in 2015 working for a financial technology firm, running the client-facing functions globally and acting as a member of the executive team.

Louise is part of our leadership team, and has overall responsibility for leading our marketing team, incorporating brand and communications, events and digital professionals. The team promotes Jersey as an international finance centre of excellence through our globally held events, in the media world-wide and across digital platforms, in support of Jersey Finance’s overall strategy and business plan.

Louise has extensive experience in marketing gained over more than twenty years, including in financial institutions HSBC and Deutsche Bank. Prior to joining Jersey Finance’s communications team in 2020, Louise was Head of Marketing across the Crown Dependencies for a telecommunications and data centre company. Educated in Jersey, Louise holds the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Postgraduate in Marketing.
