Faizal is a UK qualified lawyer and for many years has worked and advised, and is a trusted advisor to institutions, corporates and families across the Middle East, Africa and India. Faizal specialises in banking and finance and has advised corporates, family offices and families including on their international investment and holding structures.

Faizal is responsible for developing the strategy for Jersey Finance’s engagement in Africa, the Middle East and India. He is focussed on his key markets, regularly travelling to all these countries, liaising and working with key stakeholders, including public and private institutions, corporates and families, building long-term mutually beneficial relationships.

Heba Khairallah Al Emara

Heba Khairallah Al Emara Managing Director, Middle East, Vistra

Heba began her career in various legal and philanthropy roles in the City of London and later joined Orangefield Group (now Vistra) in 2012 as part of the UK client commercial advisory department. She has a particular focus on HNWIs, UHNWIs and Family Offices from the Arabian Gulf. In collaboration with the client’s advisers, support extends to structuring their international personal and business assets, succession and implementing governance across generations. Heba grew up in the Middle East, and is equally comfortable working in English and Arabic. She holds a degree in Law and has completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, London. In 2018 and 2017, Heba was named as one of eprivateclient’s ‘Top 35 Under 35’ professionals. Heba has also been shortlisted as Woman of the Year - Future Leaders in the Powerwomen Awards 2020.

Alia Haskouri

Alia Haskouri Associate Director, Private Client Services, JTC Group

Alia joined JTC’s Private Client Services division in 2020 as an Associate Director, located in our Dubai office. Alia is responsible for maintaining and managing client relationships, the management of corporate structures and business development in the GCC region. Prior to joining JTC, Alia spent the previous five and half years of her career at Intertrust Dubai.

With over 25 years’ experience with private clients and corporate services I am responsible for overseeing a range of management activities (including leading our Middle East Team) and regularly have oversight of family wealth and complex cross-border transactions. I have been involved in strategic planning for family governance, including succession planning and family constitutions, and am well versed in the establishment, administration and governance of multi-jurisdictional structures for holding a variety of business interests, investments, lifestyle assets and philanthropic activities. My considerable experience supports my team of private client experts and ensures the delivery of a superior client service.

Hamid Yunis

Hamid Yunis Partner, McDermott Will & Emery

Hamid Yunis advises clients on complex areas of transactional law (M&A, Investments, Private Equity, Major Projects and Corporate Finance) predominantly within the health industry and on infrastructure transactions. He has substantial global experience in innovative structures for complex joint ventures, public-private partnerships and funding arrangements. Hamid’s global client base includes health care providers, medical products manufacturers and organizations establishing “medical cities”, along with non-health clients where he advises on infrastructure projects and major projects. Hamid also has a particular interest in advising Sovereign Wealth Funds on their investments and other transactions. Hamid is the partner-in-charge of the Firm’s UK Health Care Practice. He joined McDermott from a leading international law firm based in London where he spent over 14 years and was head of the firm’s Health Care Group.

Bassam Kameshki

Bassam is a seasoned Real Estate Professional with over 13 years of diversified real estate experience, starting his professional career in project and development management then spending time in corporate real estate consultancy and real estate investment banking. Throughout his career he has worked with top regional real estate consultants and banks providing him with a rich exposure to different stakeholders and industries within the real estate sector. Bassam was previously Head of Real Estate Asset Management at Al Salam Bank, the largest Islamic Commercial Bank in Bahrain and before that the Head of Real Estate Investments at Ibdar Bank mainly managing its international real estate portfolio between UK and USA. Bassam has worked with several regional and international real estate partners and has an in-depth experience in advising on the right real estate investment on both; regional and international markets.
