Speakers at the conference, entitled New Perspectives, will discuss the disruption seen over the past year and whether it might present opportunities for innovation in the investment funds space, and how Jersey is adapting to the new-look environment and enhancing its funds platform.

As the fallout from those shifts continues, the half-day event will bring together world-class funds experts and will attract a broad range of practitioners including lawyers, fund managers and other finance professionals.

Other issues being discussed will include the impact of the OECD’s BEPS project on the alternative fund domicile landscape, and how international finance centres (IFCs) can play a symbiotic role in supporting alternative fund managers and investors in the UK, Europe and further afield with cross-border structuring.

Keynote speakers will include broadcaster Nick Robinson, who will offer his insights into UK and global political trends, and behavioural economist Tim Harford, who is an award-winning Financial Times columnist.

The conference, which starts at 12.30pm on Tuesday 21 March, will provide plenty of opportunities to network and is being held at the award-winning 8 Northumberland Avenue.
