Our fintech demo day is now in its third year! Join us for a series of demonstrations, talks, and networking opportunities with a selection of firms representing Jersey’s thriving and vibrant fintech community, as they present their products and solutions to our Jersey Finance Members.

As an international finance centre with a global client base and a robust regulatory environment, we recognise the value of fintech in achieving our digital aspiration “to be the easiest international finance centre to do business with remotely in a digital world”. Fintech Demo Day 2022 will support our recently refreshed fintech strategy by focussing on its core pillars of compliance and risk, productivity, and interaction.

Following Member feedback from last year’s event, the format for the day will be two sessions starting at 9.30 am (registration from 9.00 am) with a networking break in between. We will also host a networking lunch to close, which we would encourage you to stay for and make the most of the opportunity to talk one-on-one with our exhibitors.

Amy is Deputy Chief Executive of Jersey Finance. Amy joined Jersey Finance in 2011, becoming Chief Operating Officer in January 2014 and assumed her current role in September 2017. Amy also retains an active position leading the Strategic Projects team which undertakes projects and initiatives to develop the financial services industry in the Island.

Amy was born and educated in Jersey and subsequently went on to study at Durham University where she graduated with an honours degree in Natural Sciences.

Previous to Jersey Finance, Amy worked for PwC in the Channel Islands where she specialised in the taxation of offshore funds and Jersey corporate vehicles and provided international structuring advice to a global client base. Whilst working within the tax team, Amy was admitted to the Chartered Institute of Taxation as a Chartered Tax Advisor. Amy initially qualified as a chartered accountant within PwC’s Assurance team working on the audits of a number of banks, financial institutions and public sector bodies.

Tom Wiseman Chartered FCSI

Tom Wiseman Chartered FCSI Chief Executive Officer, Enhance Group

Tom is the Chief Executive of Enhance Group overseeing our multi-jurisdictional investment monitoring and advice activities from our Jersey headquarters. Before relocating to Jersey, Tom was Managing Director of Enhance in London, establishing our Consultancy practice with Dr Ruzhen Li and continues to actively advise a small number of families and institutional investment clients. Having originally trained as a Stockbroker at Charles Stanley Plc in London, in 2009 Tom joined Seven Investment Management (7IM). At 7IM, Tom managed a portfolio of private clients working closely with a broad range of professional advisers in both the UK and offshore jurisdictions. In 2013 Tom became a Partner and helped to establish 7IM’s Private Client Team, providing multi-asset investment strategies, securitised lending and cash management to wealthy families and their associated structures.

In his role, Savio has a strong background & understanding in building out complex client treasury & liquidity solutions. These complex solutions relate to Liquidity, Digital Channels, Payables, Receivables & Card Solutions. Savio has been based in Jersey for the past 5 years and prior to this covered clients in the U.K. Savio is also a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT)

Jack Swait

Jack is a member of the Payments consultancy team, looking at the latest trends and solutions in cash management and what they mean for our clients. Prior to his time with the team, Jack has worked with HSBC in several locations around the world. Most recently he looked after German headquartered Chemicals large caps in Global Relationship Management with HSBC Germany. Jack holds a BA and MA from Trinity College, Cambridge.

Alex Stickler

Alex Stickler Commercial Manager, Investor Solutions, IQ-EQ

Alex joined IQ-EQ in September 2018, after winning The One to Watch award at the 2017 UK Undergraduate of the Year Awards and completing a summer internship with IQ-EQ. He leads the business development of IQ-EQ’s Investor Solutions division, providing back-office services to Institutional Asset Owners, and digital technology reporting via the IQ-EQ Cosmos and Compass platforms. Alex is also is an active contributor in building IQ-EQ’s digital asset offering across the Group. Alex holding a 1st Class undergraduate degree in Economics and Finance from Cardiff University, is a CAIA Charterholder, and recently completed a 6-month Blockchain and Crypto Management course.

Dr Andy Sloan

Dr Andy Sloan Founder, International Sustainability Institute Channel Islands & Managing Director, Netherite & Grunweldt Ltd

Dr. Andy Sloan is the founder of the think tank, the International Sustainability Institute Channel Islands, and runs a climate risk advisory business, Netherite, and Grunweldt Advisory, providing services to financial institutions. He is also a non-executive Director of an environmental services monitoring company and several Guernsey-based financial companies. A strong advocate of climate disclosures, Dr Sloan was an expert reviewer for the International Panel on Climate Change’s sixth round assessment. He established Guernsey’s sustainable finance initiative in 2018, representing Guernsey at the UN convened Finance Centres for Sustainability from 2018 to 2021, and was also founder member of the CityUK Green Finance Group.

Stephane Gimenez

During Stephane's 24 year career in Jersey, predominately in IT management for large professional businesses which manage CDD every day, He has seen firsthand the difficulties which organisations face collecting and keeping CDD up-to-date. From day to day file reviews, to large remediation projects, those compliance processes can cost regulated companies millions of pounds a year. His vision is to save businesses time and money by revolutionising the way CDD is gathered and shared in the simplest of ways.

Brian Coutanche

Brian wrote his first program in 1978. After graduating and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant he gained early experience in information systems assurance and advisory services, strategy and organisational transformation before eventually founding a boutique management consultancy. Since then Brian has been privileged to continue this lifelong learning journey in company of talented colleagues and clients across Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and the Caribbean.

Jonathan is an investment specialist with over 30 years’ experience in asset management, hedge fund and equity derivatives industries. Formerly CIO of Ermitage Group, which ran >$3Bn of hedge fund of funds portfolios managed on behalf of some of the world’s largest and most prestigious pension funds. Jonathan co-founded Tiller to tackle the toughest challenges facing wealth management and other similar regulated industries. He is a Chartered member of CISI.

Richard has responsibility for all commercial aspects of the Vaiie business. In particular, he has strategic responsibility for the growth and go-to-market strategies as well as core client and partner engagement. He has more than 20 years' experience in senior commercial roles across the digital industry where he has been responsible for driving growth strategy, both organically through aligning people to a common goal as well as through mergers and acquisitions. He has also worked as a consultant running multiple projects and change programmes with a particular focus towards delivering strategic outcomes for clients.
