Bedell Cristin’s Jersey funds and investment practice provides expert offshore legal advice, as part of a global team spanning BVI, Cayman Islands, Guernsey, London and Singapore.

Our expertise covers all types of investment vehicles and asset classes.  Our dynamic and respected practitioners have a wealth of experience in helping to structure cross-border investments, notably in real estate, private equity and Sharia-compliant structures.

We advise on the most complex multi-billion dollar fund vehicles, as well as more closely held investment syndicates, ‘club’ and joint venture arrangements and proprietary single-asset holding structures.

Covering the entire investment lifecycle, we assist with the structuring, regulation and operation of vehicles, and acquisitions, reorganisations and exits.

Carey Olsen is a leading offshore law firm. We advise on Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey law across a global network of nine international offices.

Our investment funds and private equity team is both well regarded and highly active. We advise on all fund structures, including open and closed-ended, limited partnerships and unit trusts.

Recognised as the leading legal adviser to funds across the Channel Islands (Monterey), and with strong Caribbean and Asia practices, we represent more companies and funds listed on the London Stock Exchange than any other offshore law firm (Corporate Advisers Rankings Guide) and regularly advise on listings on the NYSE and HKEx, Euronext, CSX and TISE.

Hawksford is a leading provider for fund administration services in Jersey targeted at a wide range of asset classes and entity structures.   We are sufficiently large to ensure industry leading expertise, technology and best practice, while being small enough to be nimble and uncompromisingly client focussed.

We have particular strength and expertise in the administration of private equity, real estate and venture capital, and we work with a variety of clients and structures in these asset classes, and others.  For first time managers and the more experienced, we build effective working relationships through transparent and proactive communications, our focus on delivery, and a team culture of flexibility and agility.

We’re a market-leading offshore funds practice advising clients on the formation, structuring, funding and regulation of investment funds in Jersey, Guernsey, the Cayman Islands and the BVI. Our lawyers also provide ongoing legal advice to offshore funds and their managers, advisors, investors and lenders.

Our international team spans time-zones and is known for the quality, quantity and complexity of the work it handles, working across a wide range of alternative fund asset classes – both traditional and new, including technology, fintech, renewable energy, meditech and bio venture.

Our lawyers also maintain close contact with the financial regulatory and tax authorities in our jurisdictions and regularly participate in the development of new laws, regulations and regulatory policy. This enables us to advise authoritatively in the context of an evolving landscape.

“The premier fund legal advisor in Jersey”, Legal 500.
