Jersey Finance is delighted to invite you to the first Future Connect event of 2019, entitled ‘The Power of Words’.
The event will take place on Wednesday 16 January, 5.15 pm – 7.30 pm and will take the format of a presentation by Sven Hughes, founder of Verbalisation followed by networking drinks.
About Sven
Sven is the founder of Verbalisation, a strategic communications consultancy that uses radical logic to harness the power of words to drive behaviour change. Jersey Finance has worked closely with Sven and his team over the past year to refresh our communications and verbal strategy. An engaging speaker, Sven will provide an overview of how science and creativity can deliver a radically different way to understand and engage people. He is also the founder of Global Influence, which provides cutting-edge influence solutions for challenging, complex and high-stake environments. A former British Army reservist specialising in psychological warfare, Sven uses the techniques he learned in Afghanistan to change behaviour by precision-engineering language.
About Future Connect
JFL is creating a targeted campaign that aimed at the more junior segments of professionals in the finance industry. This campaign will help raise awareness of JFL and the contribution of the finance industry in Jersey and help engage with wider membership base on the significant impact and value to Jersey’s finance industry locally.
