People and Purpose: New Thinking for a New Era

A seismic shift has occurred in the way people live, work, travel and interact, on a global scale.

As we move through the pandemic, people and nations will face disparate challenges. But what connects us is a shared sense of purpose to rebuild for the better. Collaboration, trust and acting with integrity will be vital for businesses that want to maintain a positive reputation.

For the private wealth community and international finance centres like Jersey, now is an opportune time to reflect on the impact of reputation, embrace new thinking, and prepare for a new era.

The Jersey Finance Annual Private Wealth Conference, entitled ‘People and Purpose: New Thinking for a New Era’, will focus on how new opportunities presented by digitalisation and ESG are influencing the private client community. Industry experts will seek to answer vital questions of interest to wealth advisors, such as the drivers for private client decision-making and how decisions impact the wider society.

Hear from visionary and inventive leaders in their fields, those creating solutions to address the future challenges presented by this new era, with people and purpose at its core. At the half-day conference, delegates can expect plenty of in-person networking and an exclusive opportunity to hear from key public figures, including Lord Sebastian Coe and Rachel Botsman.

By registering for this conference, you are agreeing to your information being shared with our sponsors. Full details of our privacy policy can be viewed here. Should you not wish for your information to be shared, please email our events team.

What you need to know before you visit The Brewery

Please see below for the current COVID-19 guidance from The Brewery (as of 09.00 on Monday 13 September 2021):

COVID Status – What you will need to enter The Brewery

To enter The Brewery, you will be required to show your COVID-19 status (vaccination, negative COVID-19 test or proof of natural immunity) on your COVID pass to demonstrate that you are at lower risk of transmitting the virus to others. We will also accept an SMS or email from the NHS showing proof of a negative lateral flow test. You can register your NHS lateral flow test result to have the result sent to you.

Travelling from England? Please see the NHS website for information on NHS COVID passes.

Coming from abroad?

  • Please take a lateral flow test within 48 hours of your event and register the result on the UK Government website. Many national governments have created their own COVID Passports which international travellers may use to prove their COVID status.

Or:

  • If you do not have access to a mobile phone, have received the vaccination outside of the UK or are not registered with a GP in England you can present a hard copy of official documented proof for entry.

Guests cannot take tests onsite at The Brewery. This would put other guests and staff at risk if the person was to test positive onsite. Anyone arriving without a COVID pass would need to visit a pharmacy to get a test on the day.

On the day

Face coverings

Wearing a mask is recommended. Face coverings are no longer required by law in England and are now your personal choice however, the UK government still expects and recommends that people wear face coverings in crowded areas.
