Jersey Finance was delighted to welcome specialists from True ESG and ESI Monitor to demystify some key aspects of the sustainability journey for Jersey financial services businesses.

During this session, Ian Corder, Director of Operations and Standards at ESI Monitor, helps to decipher some of the ‘alphabet soup’ around sustainable finance, including some acronym-heavy disclosure standards like TCFD.

Michelle Ryan, Director at True ESG, then adds to Ian’s insights and discusses the embedding of sustainability into financial services businesses, including an overview of the measurement of impact at an organisational level.

This session provides an opportunity to make sense of scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions specific to the finance industry, as well as ‘net zero’, what it means, and how businesses can achieve this.

Below is a recording of the session, and a copy of the presentation slides can be downloaded here.
