Liana is based in Shanghai, to maintain and enhance client relationships for Greater China. Liana has over 10 years’ professional and practical experience in asset management industry. She is specialized in operations of both onshore China and offshore fund structures, including mutual funds, private equity funds, venture capital, and hedge funds. She assists clients in capital transactions, waterfall calculation, and regulatory reporting. Liana also has extensive experience in accounting for financial and non-financial institutions, including asset managers, security companies, and fin-tech companies. She is familiar with the application of different GAAPs, such as PRC GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP. Liana is a qualified member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.

Simin Yao

Simin Yao Head of Operation, Japan, Apex Group

Simin is Certificated Public Accountant of China, base in Shanghai and fluent Japanese speaker with 13 years’ working experience in top Japanese enterprises, asset management company and fund administration company and experienced in Japan local SPC accounting especially for Real Estate investment fund using TMK, TK-GK structure covering various property types including Office, Resi, Logistics, Hotel, Data Centre, Renewable, etc. Simin is currently leading Japan Operation team which has 90+ members across both APEX Tokyo and Shanghai office with multiple nationality.

Amit Jain

Amit Jain Client Relationship Manager (CRM), APAC, Apex Group

Amit Jain is a Chartered Accountant professional with 20 years of experience in the traditional and alternative investment space. He has held diverse roles across Account Management and Operations within the Asset Servicing domain. As a Client Relationship Manager based in Singapore, Amit fostered strong partnerships with Hedge Funds, Private Equity firms, and Family Offices, specifically focusing on Alternative Fund clients in APAC. Additionally, he led the Fund Administration Global Operations Team, overseeing large operations and managing an AUA of USD 200+ billion across 22 markets, covering 2000+ Funds in APAC, Middle East, and Africa. His proficiency extends to Traditional, Insurance, and Alternatives funds, including services related to Fund Accounting, Middle Office, Risk Management, and Securities Services.

Vincent Lu

Vincent Lu Director of Commercial Sales, Apex Group

Vincent Lu is a graduate of CEIBS (China Europe International Business School in Shanghai and had 3 years of overseas working experience in emerging market, specifically in Philippines. With 13 years of expertise in the financial service industry including fund administration and investment banking operations. Vincent specializes in assisting clients with multiple operation solutions regarding the new business onboarding, business migrations, middle office service delivery, fund accounting and regulatory reporting etc. Vincent leverages his extensive digital experiences to help client resolve the operational challenges like quicker turnaround of communications, high volume trading and reconciliation and straight-through processes. Vincent also advises the client to adapt the operational environment for new product and the new jurisdictional requirement i.e. SFTR, EMIR Refit etc.
