Leading expert in sustainable and impact investing, James Hay of MainStreet Partners, will deliver a keynote address, which will be followed by an in-depth panel discussion featuring insights from: David Stearn, Chief Executive Officer, Affinity Private Wealth; Mona Shah, Director, Stonehage Fleming Investment Management; Paul Hunter, Director – Family Office Services, Crestbridge; and Jennifer Le Chevalier, Head of Private Wealth, IQ-EQ.

Robert joined Jersey Finance as Business Development Director following three years with Ocorian Limited in Jersey. Born in Dublin, Robert has over 13 years’ financial service experience in Jersey.

Prior to Jersey Finance, Robert was employed as a Client Director in the Alternative Investment Division of Ocorian Limited. Previous to this he spent eight years with Garfield-Bennett Trust Company and two years with the TMF Group. Robert has extensive experience within the private wealth, real estate and private equity sectors and has held executive director roles on a number of complex portfolios with varied administrative and regulatory requirements. Professionally he is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) obtaining the Diploma of International Trust Management, entitling the TEP designation.

James Hay

James Hay Investment Associate, MainStreet Partners

James Hay is an Investment Associate at MainStreet Partners, a specialist ESG Advisory and Portfolio Analytics firm. James’ work focuses on the development of cutting-edge sustainability analytics of equities and bonds, delivering solutions through a unique ESG fin-tech platform. James consults on aligning ESG data to upcoming EU regulations including the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (“SFDR”) and the Taxonomy Regulation. James also leads the Green and Social Bonds advisory team providing clients with insight into thematic fixed income securities and impact reporting data. James contributes to various ICMA working groups defining industry standards in the sustainable bonds market. Prior to joining MainStreet in 2017, James consulted for an offshore impact investment advisory firm after graduating with distinction from the MBA Programme at INSEAD in July 2016.

Paul Hunter

Paul Hunter Group Head of Family Office Services, Crestbridge

Paul has over 20 years’ experience in servicing the wealth management and estate planning interests of numerous UHNWIs and their families from multiple jurisdictions and has specialist knowledge and experience in dealing with clients from North America, Latin America and the Middle East. Paul is also a member of Crestbridge’s Executive team, providing input into the strategic direction and expansion of the business. In addition, Paul manages the new joint venture, Crestbridge Fiduciary LLC, a US joint venture with Willow Street, which was established in January 2020. Paul has extensive experience in the administration of a range of structures, including private trust companies, reserved powers trusts and foundations holding multiple assets including marketable securities, real estate and artwork and sharia compliant structures and financing.

Mona Shah

Mona Shah Director, Stonehage Fleming Investment Management

Mona Shah is a Director at Stonehage Fleming Investment Management, with 14 years’ experience in portfolio construction and manager selection across all asset classes and is a member of the Investment Committee. Mona is responsible for Stonehage Fleming Global Sustainable Investment Portfolios and is an Ambassador for both Girls are Investors (GAIN) and City Hive. Mona has a first-class BSc (Hons) degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Bristol.

David Stearn

David Stearn Chief Executive, Affinity

David is the Chief Executive of Affinity, whilst maintaining a client focused role utilising his many years’ of wealth management experience in London and Jersey. Affinity is an independent wealth management company providing advice, structuring and investment solutions; helping individuals and families preserve and enhance their assets for themselves and across generations. Privately owned, our interests are wholly aligned with clients. Our ethics and values are at the core of everything we do. We were the first UN Global Compact participant in Jersey, consistent with Affinity’s commitment to sustainability and are members of the Jersey Good Business Charter. Our primary focus is to understand our client’s requirements and aspirations, relating these to their finances. Jennifer Le Chevalier

Jennifer Le Chevalier Head of Private Wealth, IQEQ

Jennifer joined the business in 2008 from a leading private bank. A practitioner with 28 years’ industry experience in both private client and corporate disciplines, she has particular experience in supporting the family office environment and UK resident non domiciled families. Jennifer has a large team reporting to her covering an international client base and a variety of asset classes. She is Head of Private Client, Jersey and a member of the Board in our Jersey business.
