Ready23 Summit
Ready23
Location: Various, Jersey
Pricing: Jersey Finance Member Only
Our inaugural summit for Jersey’s financial services industry will bring together multiple generations of financial services professionals to learn and collaborate as we consider the question: Is Jersey ready to continue to be a positive force and visionary leader in international finance?
Based around three key themes shaping our world; fintech, sustainable finance and securing a future-fit workforce, and with a keen eye on global trends, this one-of-a-kind event will be split into three sessions:
Thursday 2 November | 4.00 pm – 7.00 pm
New talent: Aimed at future leaders and new entrants to Jersey’s finance industry.
Friday 3 November | 9.00 am – 12.30 pm
Experienced professionals: For leaders of high-performance teams across all disciplines.
Friday 3 November | 3.00 pm – 6.30 pm
Executives’ retreat: Open to the CEO, managing partner, local business head or equivalent.
Are you ready to sign up?
Participating firms must commit to sending one employee to each session, with the option for up to three to attend the experienced professionals session, to allow for multiple disciplines within your organisation to be represented.
Confirmation of employee names is not required until the Autumn.
Please be aware places are limited to 60 participating firms and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Louise Minchin Broadcaster and Journalist
Ready23 will be hosted and expertly facilitated by respected broadcaster and journalist, Louise Minchin. One of the former presenters of BBC Breakfast, Louise has previously anchored news bulletins on BBC One, and the News Channel. She has also presented sports shows, and played a cameo (as herself) in Spooks.
What format will Ready23 take?
Each of the sessions will feature a mixture of presentations from leading experts in their field, panel discussions, and interactive or group discussions. The topics covered will include fintech, sustainable finance and future-fit workforce, alongside global trends.
Is there a cost to attend Ready23?
No, Ready23 is free of charge to all participating Jersey Finance Member firms.
Do I have to be a Jersey Finance Member to attend?
Yes, Ready23 is only open to Jersey Finance Member firms.
Can we send staff from our other non-Jersey offices?
No, all attendees should be Jersey-based.
Do we have to decide who attends each session now?
No, at this stage we are just looking for you to commit to sending a minimum of three staff, one for each of the three sessions (new talent, experienced professionals, executives’ retreat).
We will be in touch in the Autumn to ask you to confirm the names of your attendees.
Can I send more than one staff member to each session?
For both the new talent and CEO retreat sessions, we are limiting numbers to one person attending each session from each Member firm. This is due to the capacity of our venues.
However, up to three places per firm are available in the experienced professionals session, to allow for multiple disciplines to be represented, for example leaders/managers within marketing, operations, customer facing, business development, compliance, IT, HR professionals (to name just a few). All would benefit from these sessions.
Do we have to send someone to all three sessions?
Ideally yes. However, we recognise that some of our Members with smaller teams may not have sufficient suitable staff for all three sessions. If this is the case, please do not register through Eventbrite, but contact our events team with the details of which sessions you would like to attend, and we will accommodate you, if the session is not already full.
Do we have to stay for the entire session?
Yes, the sessions are designed to be interactive and capture feedback from participants so you should plan to attend for the whole of your chosen session.
Is Ready23 an annual event?
It is our intention to host this event annually, subject to feedback from Members after this inaugural event.
What happens if Ready23 is oversubscribed?
We do have a limited number of places for 60 firms. Therefore, we will operate a waiting list if all these places are allocated. As the conference is in its first year, we will be gauging interest and taking on board feedback when deciding capacity for future years.
