Jersey Finance is proud to collaborate with 100 Women in Finance in Cape Town to co-host an exclusive event and education session for aspiring women leaders.
The evening will begin with an art walkabout led by art specialist Sarah Sinisi, showcasing top contemporary African and South African masters.
Following an opening address by Tania Pringle, Wealth Manager, Cartesian Wealth & Advisory (Pty) Ltd., Dr Rufaro Nyakatawa, Market Development Consultant—Africa at Jersey Finance, will moderate an exclusive, in-depth fireside chat with Sindi Mabaso-Koyana, Chairperson of the African Women Chartered Accountants Investment Holding Company (AWCA Investment Holdings).
Sindi will share valuable insights on her career journey to senior leadership, discuss how women are making an impact on Africa’s development, discuss sustainability in South Africa, and more. This event will provide plenty of opportunities to network with colleagues and meet like-minded professionals.

Based in Johannesburg, Dr Rufaro Nyakatawa’s primary focus is developing the strategy for Jersey Finance’s engagement in the South African market. She also plays a vital role in supporting the organisation’s wider activity across the continent.
Dr Nyakatawa is a multifaceted business consultant with more than 20 years’ experience working in financial services, specifically wealth management in large financial services companies in South Africa and across Africa. She joined Jersey Finance in 2021 and is responsible for market development in Africa, currently with a primary focus on South Africa.
An international speaker and thought leader, Dr Nyakatawa has been interviewed on various platforms including the BBC, CNBC, ENCA and various publications. She champions women’s issues as an Advisory Board Member of Women in Tech (SA Chapter) and an International Campaign Advisor for the Cherie Blair Foundation’s 100,000 Women Campaign Board, among others. She was recently elected by members to the Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa(FPI), she is a Non-Executive Director at Masthead and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), CFA member and SAVCA member. She holds an MBA and PhD from the University of Cape Town.
Tania Pringle Wealth Manager, Cartesian Wealth & Advisory (Pty) Ltd.
Tania Pringle is a career banker, which includes extended tenures with Rand Merchant Bank / FirstRand Group and global wealth manger and Swiss private bank, Bank Julius Baer. At the end of 2022, Tania transitioned from large corporate to establishing an independent wealth and advisory practice, which offers bespoke global wealth management solutions for investors, together with tailored pre- and post- retirement investment planning. She is the co-founder of ‘Cartesian Wealth and Advisory (Pty) Ltd.’ Her private practice specialises in empowering women to make independent financial decisions about their own wealth management. She also serves on the steering committee of ‘100 Women in Finance’, South Africa.
Sindi Mabaso-Koyana Co-founder, African Women CA Association
A CA and respected businesswoman, Sindi is the co-founder of African Women CA Association. She later led the formation of the Investment arm, AIH and the Private equity firm, AIH Capital. AIH has built a portfolio of solid investments in the Financial Services, Industrial and Technology Sectors where Sindi plays a role in the strategic and development growth of these businesses. Sindi is proud of the mission of AIH Group which drives financial inclusivity and financial independence of women. Her illustrious career has included being Managing Director of Viamax Logistics, a subsidiary of Transnet, Group CFO of Transnet, Executive Partner at Ernst & Young, amongst others. She has served as Non- Executive Director of large corporates including Listed entities where she has chaired the Audit and Risk Committees, Sustainability Committees and Remuneration Committees.
100 Women in Finance is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women in the finance industry. Established in 2001, it focuses on advancing the careers of women at all stages through education, professional development, and networking opportunities. With a registered membership of over 30,000 professionals, men and women, and supported by more than 600 volunteers, the organization’s mission is to strengthen the global finance sector by promoting diversity and inclusion, particularly by increasing the representation of women at all career levels and in senior investment roles and executive positions.
