This seminar will consider the two new corporate criminal offences of failure to prevent the facilitation of tax evasion, which are currently working their way through Parliament in the Criminal Finances Bill 2016-17. These offences have extra-territorial reach – placing corporates based in the Channel Islands firmly within scope.
The speakers will analyse the legal and practical implications for firms based in the Channel Islands who need to comply with the legislation.
