We’re excited to be working with Jersey Uncovered to offer guided walks, at a discounted price, for Jersey Finance Member firms as part of our 60th anniversary campaign.
Launching 10 May, groups of 6 to 15 people maximum, can choose from a selection of 60-minute express guided lunchtime walks in our bustling town centre of St Helier.

| Monday 10 May | A Wander Through Historic St Helier Jersey Uncovered Guide: Tracey Radford | Take a lunchtime stroll through the lanes, streets and squares of St Helier and gain insight into the incredible story of this historic town. You’ll hear about some of the characters who have lived and worked here, some quirky facts as well as enjoy St Helier’s amazing architecture during this fun and relaxed 60-minute walk. And at the end, you will feel refreshed, revived and ready to head back to the office! |
| Tuesday 11 May | St Helier’s French Connection Jersey Uncovered Guide: Clive Jones | Join me as we reveal some of St Helier’s extensive history, with special emphasis on the French connection it has. From medieval history to 19th century literature the French influence has been strong. Learn how a French chamber-pot sparked two days of riots – and were they hushed up? And be able to return to work afterwards with a few bons mots in Jèrriais to impress your colleagues! |
| Wednesday 12 May | Uncovering St Helier’s Harbour History Jersey Uncovered Guide: Kary Day | Are you curious about this small Island’s big story, a story shaped by its location, coastline and sea? Do tales of war and peace, merchants and mariners, soldiers and superheroes, ladies and lords, intrigue you? If the answer is yes to any of these questions then your Jersey Uncovered guide will take you on a pleasant and entertaining walk, along the sea wall, around marinas and harbours, and through historic St Helier. |
| Thursday 13 May | Uncovering Historic St Helier Jersey Uncovered Guide: Clive Jones | Follow me as we scramble up and down the centuries and explore some of St Helier’s less-known secrets. Stand with me up to your nostrils in water (figuratively) as we talk about the old harbour and learn about the gaoler with a knack for woodcarving. Why is Bond Street called Bond Street? You’ll find out. Understand why it was important to remember to lift your skirts as you entered the Royal Square and meet the man with two left feet. It’s all there and more in this one-hour whistle-stop tour. |
