2021 marks the 60th anniversary of Jersey’s international financial services industry.

Jersey Finance has launched a campaign, entitled ‘Together We Shine: A Celebration of 60 Years’ to give finance professionals and members of the local community, the opportunity to reflect on all the industry has achieved in the past 60 years. As part of the campaign, Jersey Finance has launched a fundraising target of £60,000 which we hope will be achieved through a year of fundraising and Fundraising Week, with our Members. Our aim is to make a difference to worthy local causes, a reaffirmation of the industry’s ongoing commitment to engage with the Island community.

Together We Shine Fundraising Week 2021

Fundraising Week, kindly sponsored by Rathbones, is taking place from 20 – 25 September 2021 and all monies raised will be distributed to the Association of Jersey Charities, the representative body of charitable organisations operating in Jersey. Jersey Finance will be continuously supporting and promoting the fundraising activities throughout the year and we encourage all our Members to participate.

Send Your Boss Over the Edge

Member firm CEOs and senior managers are invited to be ‘sent over the edge’ in a charity fundraising abseil! On Wednesday 22 September, we are inviting up to 30 CEOs or senior managers from our Member firms to abseil Mont Orgueil Castle. Expect plenty of photo opportunities and media interest! Members can create their own fundraising site to accept donations. We only ask that money raised is sent onto the Association of Jersey Charities.

To take part in this challenge, please donate a £60 entry fee directly to the Association of Jersey Charities here. Once you have paid the entry fee, please email our events team to let us know you are getting involved!

Please note the minimum amount of sponsorship is £150.
