Volunteer Day: All Members

To mark the end of our Sustainable Finance Summit, we’re encouraging all our Member firms to organise locally-focussed volunteering activities on Friday, 14 March. If your firm has charity or green teams, or offers employees volunteering days, this is a great opportunity to take action and come together as an industry to support local causes.

Not sure where to start? Here are some simple ways to get involved:

• Beach cleans – gather a team to clear litter from our coastlines
• Wildflower planting – help create pollinator-friendly habitats
• Recycling and waste reduction drives – encourage responsible waste disposal
• Charity partnerships – support local environmental charities through volunteering
• Build bug hotels and bird boxes – help protect local wildlife
• Sustainable commute challenge – encourage your team to walk, cycle, or carpool for the day

Please note that these activities will need to be arranged by your firm, but we’d love to see what you get up to! Share your photos with us at events@jerseyfinance.je, and we’ll pull together and acknowledge all contributions in our post-event PR activity.
