Brighter Futures works in partnership with Coutts to help families and children during the festive season.
This year, Coutts employee, Will Le Quelenec set himself a series of personal challenges to raise funds for the charity.
Following Will’s success, Coutts will give each Brighter Futures client a supermarket voucher making a difference to 150 families this Christmas. Iceland has agreed to offer Brighter Futures a deal which will increase the value of each family’s voucher.
Fiona Brennan, Manager, Brighter Futures, commented:
“Brighter Futures’ motto is to ‘Think Family’ as we believe that if we work in real partnership with the main carer, benefits gained will be transferred to the home environment. On behalf of all of our families, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank Will Le Quelenec for his amazing achievements in 2013. We would also like to thank Coutts for their very generous donation. Every family wants to do the best for their children, and this Christmas voucher from Coutts is a surprise bonus which will be very much appreciated by all of our families at this difficult time of the year.”
Richard Tribe, Director for Coutts Channel Islands, added:
“Coutts has a long history of philanthropy and is delighted to support Brighter Futures by making a difference to families in Jersey at this special time of year. Brighter Futures provides invaluable services to the Jersey community and we are pleased to build on Coutts’ association with the charity following our team member’s personal fundraising challenges this year.”
