This Saturday, 25th July, Careers Jersey is offering one-to-one CV mentoring at Jersey Library between 10am and 2pm. The initiative follows their highly successful Jobs Fair earlier this month, at which the Careers Advisors found there was high demand for this service.

Andrew Gibbs, Head of Careers and Learning Support explained “Over 800 people attended the Jobs Fair, and for many people the CV help desk was their first port of call.” He continued. “Everyone is aware of that competition for jobs is at an all-time high, and job-seekers are well advised to give themselves the best chance of progressing to interview stage by ensuring their CVs are well laid-out and clearly identify their skills and experience.”

Saturday’s workshop is in addition to the appointment and drop-in service offered at Careers Jersey on La Motte Street every Monday-Friday between 9am – 5pm. All advice and guidance appointments are free of charge and open to the entire Jersey’s community, regardless of age or career stage.

Individuals wishing to attend can book an appointment by calling 449440 or emailing careers@gov.je. There will also be a limited number of drop-in appointments available on the day.
