Collas Crill is delighted to announce the appointment of Pamela Doherty as Jersey Managing Partner.

Pamela is an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey and a Partner in the Property team at Collas Crill with extensive experience in all aspects of residential and commercial property work. She joined the firm in 2017, having previously worked at offshore law firm Mourant and leading UK law firm Pinsent Masons for a number of years.

In the Legal Directories, Pamela is ranked in Band 1 in Chambers and Partners and as a Next Generation Partner in Legal 500.

Pamela assumes the role from Nuno Santos-Costa who is stepping back from his wider group and local management roles to allow him to focus on his client and court work.

Pamela said: ‘I moved to Collas Crill because of the people, the great work and because I hoped I could make a difference to the firm. That reason stays with me and I feel honoured and excited to take on the role of Local Managing Partner in Jersey. I am looking forward to working with Jason Romer, our Global Managing Partner, and the management team to assist in the continued growth and success of Collas Crill.’

Nuno said: ‘It has been a privilege to have been involved with the growth of Collas Crill – internationally and locally – over the past 12 years and I’m very proud of the award-winning, multi-jurisdictional firm we are today. It’s a pleasure to hand the reins to Pamela who will be a fantastic local leader with fresh perspectives and huge drive to push us forward.’

Group Managing Partner Jason Romer said: ‘Pamela is well connected in the local market and loved by clients and our own people alike. I know that she will bring something very special to the role and I wish her every success in continuing to build on the recent and significant growth of our presence in Jersey. I would also like to thank Nuno for his outstanding leadership and contribution to the development of the firm and of the Jersey partnership since we merged in 2011. Fortunately, he is not going anywhere anytime soon and remains in the firm serving clients doing what he enjoys best – winning in court!’
