Crestbridge has appointed Daniel Channing as a Director in its Family Office Services team as the firm continues to experience growth following a period of new client acquisition.

In his new role, Daniel will focus on ensuring that clients continue to benefit fully from Crestbridge’s comprehensive suite of tailored fiduciary and support services. As part of the firm’s award-winning Family Office Services team, he will bring significant experience to support the creation and delivery of bespoke strategies to preserve and enhance clients’ global asset portfolios and succession plans in an increasingly unpredictable global environment.

Having worked with global ultra-high net worth families and family offices for more than 15 years, Daniel has held senior board positions in family offices and leading bank-owned trust and fiduciary service companies in both Jersey and Europe.

In particular, he has invaluable experience of supporting high net worth families and family offices with implementing and managing effective family succession planning solutions across multiple jurisdictions and helping them to develop necessary governance frameworks.

He joins Crestbridge having recently returned to Jersey from a Geneva based role as a Director at HSBC Private Bank, with wealth planning and advisory responsibility for the Middle East markets of Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman. Daniel holds TEP accreditation with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and an advanced certification in Family Business Advising.

Heather Tibbo, Group Head of Family Office Services at Crestbridge, said:

“Building on the establishment earlier this year of Crestbridge Fiduciary through our joint venture with Willow Street in the US, we are continuing to see growth in demand for high quality, multijurisdictional services from families and family offices. It’s critical that we continue to have the best people in place to support that growing client base, and in that vein I’m delighted to welcome Daniel to our team. His international and institutional-grade experience will add huge value to our team, help us to bring our proposition to globally-dynamic families and cement our position as a leader in the family office services landscape.”

In recent months, Crestbridge has been named as a Tier I independent trust company in the annual ePrivateClient Top Trust Company rankings and been featured in the ePrivateClient Top 35 Under 35 listings and Citywealth Future Leaders Awards.
