Staff at Crestbridge have raised nearly £20,000 to support the work of their current charity partner Macmillan Cancer Support in Jersey.

Over the past year, staff have undertaken a range of initiatives including a Charity Ball which staff organised on behalf of the charity, as well as cake sales, a sponsored rowathon, and fundraising activities around the Grand National and Easter, whilst staff have also made direct donations.

Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey offers free emotional support, practical information and group support to people in Jersey with any type of cancer and at any stage, along with their families and friends. Their services are provided from The Oasis, Macmillan Jersey’s cancer support centre, based at the Lido Medical Centre.

Meanwhile, staff at Crestbridge in Jersey have selected the Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (JSPCA) as their nominated charity for the next 12 months.

Over the past five years, staff have managed to raise a total of almost £100,000 for charities including Help a Jersey Child, the Jersey Foster Carers Association, the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) and the Jersey Alzheimers Association.

Graeme McArthur, Chief Executive, Crestbridge, said: “The team at Crestbridge is passionate about engaging with and supporting the local community, which is why each year our staff select a charity to partner with, support and fundraise for over the year. I’m so proud that the team has been able to raise such a great amount for Macmillan to support the fantastic team there.”
