Dilmun, who joins as a lateral partner hire from another Jersey firm, becomes the fourth partner in the growing investment funds and corporate team alongside Jonathan Heaney, Christopher Reed and Leanne Wallser.

Dilmun advises clients in London, the US and the Channel Islands on the establishment and restructuring of investment funds, and on complex corporate, private equity and capital markets transactions, as well as on complex financial services regulatory issues

He is recognised by Chambers & Partners, Legal 500 and IFLR1000 and is an elected member of the Jersey Funds Association Committee – he is praised as “a very good technical lawyer” by Chambers, and Legal 500 noted that he “takes a commercial approach to issues raised in the context of transactions”.

Jonathan Heaney said: “Dilmun’s very welcome arrival takes us up to four partners in the team as we continue to grow our practice. He has an outstanding reputation in the market both here in the Island and more broadly in the London market and I am delighted to welcome him aboard.”

Walkers’ Jersey office continues to grow across all disciplines in terms of both headcount and market stature evidenced by the growth in staff numbers of more than 75% in the last two years and the continued increase in new client mandates – this year’s arrivals include senior counsel Rachel Amos (Regulatory) and Julia Keppe (Banking & Finance); senior associate Tom Fothergill (Investment Funds & Corporate), and associates Charlotte Matthews and Clare Barbesol (Insolvency and Dispute Resolution).

More announcements about arrivals will be made before the end of the year.
