JTC Group, a leading independent provider of private wealth, corporate, employee benefit and fund administration services across multiple jurisdictions, has been short-listed in two categories for the prestigious Citywealth Magic Circle Awards for 2013.

JTC is among the companies nominated as Trust Company of the Year (independent), while Saffron Harrop, Managing Director – Jersey, has been short-listed in the Citywealth Woman of the Year category.

Founded in 2005, Citywealth is a provider of news and information to senior executives from the private wealth sector, including family offices, private banks, investment managers, accountants, lawyers and trustees.

Celebrating excellence in the major offshore jurisdictions, the Magic Circle Awards are judged by a distinguished panel of experts, supplemented by an online vote open to those who work in private wealth.

JTC’s nomination follows a year of considerable growth for the company, which has opened operations in Brazil, Argentina, New Zealand and Miami in the past 12 months.

Saffron Harrop joined JTC Group in 2000 and has worked in both the private client and corporate teams, gaining extensive knowledge across both disciplines. She was appointed MD of the Jersey office at the start of 2013, and has overall responsibility for all JTC’s business divisions and operations in Jersey.

“We’re delighted to have been nominated for these awards,” states Nigel Le Quesne, Group CEO & Chairman. "JTC's success to date is the result of our client servicing model and it is great to be recognised for excellence in this field."

The winners of the 2013 Citywealth Magic Circle Awards will be announced at a ceremony in London on May 16th.
