Francis achieved a masters’ degree in International Securities, Investment and Banking from the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) Centre at the University of Reading prior to joining EY’s London office. He spent 10 years working in EY’s London Banking Capital Markets team before joining the Jersey office earlier this year.

During his time in London, Francis gained significant experience and insight working on cross-jurisdictional banking engagements. Aside from his banking experience, he also worked on delivering Reporting Accountant opinions, as well as process and control improvement projects and Accounting Standard implementations. He has extensive knowledge and experience of IFRS and US and UK GAAP.

In his new leadership role, Francis will lead on a number of banking engagements and support with driving the local Sustainable Finance service offerings. He will also be using his experience leading EY’s FS Fintech, Blockchain and Crypto group in London to further strengthen EY’s capabilities in these areas within the Channel Islands.

Francis said: “I am delighted to be a part of the leadership team here in the Channel Islands. This is a fantastic new challenge for me, and I look forward to being a part of the continued growth of the Channel Islands practice.”
