EY’s imminent 'exchange of information’ FATCA update breakfast seminar has proved extremely popular with over 130 delegates already signed up.
The seminar will be led by the firm’s tax partner Wendy Martin who will be joined by Andrew Hinsley, an executive director from the EY’s Tax Controversy and Risk Management team in London.
The seminar takes place on Friday 6 November and the speakers will be updating delegates on the important lessons learnt from the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), preparing for Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories reporting (CDOT) and the implementation of Common Reporting Standards (CRS).
At the same time they will cover what HMRC will do with the information exchanged and how to manage risk.
Mrs Martin said: “The event aims to provide a practical look at how we can use what we have learned from the FATCA experience in the most efficient way to address the much larger burden of CDOT and CRS, as well as providing a technical update on these regimes.
The seminar is specifically tailored to educate and inform attendees; they will be shown how to approach the next stage of the reporting process whilst being mindful of managing risk.
The seminar will take place at The Grand on Friday 6 November from 8am to 10.30am, with the presentation starting at 8.30. To book a place contact Sophie Lihou by email on email@example.com or by telephone on 01481 717560.
