Independent trust, funds and pension services provider, Fairway, has appointed Dominic Coyne as director.

Mr Coyne joins Fairway from VG, where he began his career 20 years ago. Mr Coyne, who is expert in real estate and private equity funds, with a particular focus on the Middle East, was responsible for managing VG’s funds and Islamic finance team.

Aslam Shareef, director and head of funds at Fairway, said: “I am delighted to welcome Dominic to the team during this exciting period of growth at Fairway. Dominic’s technical excellence and extensive experience will help us to continue developing our funds services in the areas of real estate and private equity, while delivering the highest standards of client service. This is an exciting appointment which also further strengthens our Middle East expertise, an area where many of our clients are based.”

“I’m looking forward to joining the team at Fairway and to helping the business achieve its international growth ambitions. The team already has a significant depth of expertise in the Middle East, which I will look to further strengthen. As an independent, owner-managed business that offers a director-led service, Fairway is proactive and nimble, qualities which I believe are both highly valued by clients and enable the team to deliver a best-in-class client service,” said Mr Coyne.

Fairway Group was established in Jersey in 2000 and has enjoyed continuous growth since its launch. A ‘consciously independent’ owner-managed business, Fairway is a leading provider of trust, corporate and funds services as well as pensions and innovative savings products.
