This month we visited three local schools to promote our workplace scheme, Life in Finance to Year 12 and first-year highlands students.
The Life in Finance scheme is a work placement scheme that brings together local students with our Member firms. It’s a chance for students to gain some work experience and a chance for Member firms to meet the future finance workers!
We visited De La Salle, Hautlieu and Highlands to share this exciting opportunity with their students.
We told them more about the finance industry and helped to bust those myths about finance being all about numbers! We showed them all the possible career paths and some interesting facts about Jersey’s finance industry.
The students were engaged and excited about the scheme and we look forward to seeing who takes part!
It was great to get out there and interact with schools to help us build on our careers and skills work and we look forward to working with them again in the future.
